How Do I Build a Strong Application?

When writing your application, think of it as an opportunity to tell the unique story and vision of your business. Show us how your goals connect to this program—explain why now is the right time for you to grow and how this cohort will help you take that next step.

A strong application also demonstrates traction. Use real evidence, such as customer growth, revenue trends, partnerships, or market demand, to show that your business has momentum. At the same time, make sure you highlight the broader impact of your success. How will your growth create jobs, strengthen your community, or bring value to your customers?

Finally, present your application clearly and professionally. Well-written, error-free responses make a strong impression and help reviewers focus on your vision, potential, and commitment to growth. And make sure to answer and attach all required information.

What happens if I am selected as a Finalist?

After the application period closes, we will narrow the pool of Applicants and identify Finalists. The finalists will be required to participate fully in the three-day training cohort and the business Showcase event. The cohort provides essential tools and strategies to prepare businesses for growth, while the showcase offers a chance to present products and services to the public and gain valuable visibility. Participation in both is mandatory to ensure each finalist is equipped to make the most of this opportunity.
